A wonderfully characterful antique French bobbin-turned bench, featuring beautifully turned dark wooden legs, arms and back with the distinctive repeating bobbin detail.

The handwoven rush seat is particularly attractive, with a decorative geometric weave and wonderfully warm, timeworn tones of rust, ochre and natural brown. The dark timber has developed a rich aged patina which adds to the authentic character of the piece.

A striking and unusual piece of French country furniture that would look fabulous in a hallway, bedroom, boot room or tucked alongside a dining table. Equally beautiful as a decorative statement piece.
